This was the perfect episode to release this week as I am on the cusp of launching my signature course Soulful Marketing. Yes, that’s right and it is VERY VERY exciting for myself personally as I grow, and for my business growth. Growth is a wonderful thing, and momentum builds momentum. The first reason why you need to spend more to make more is to first and foremost back yourself. When you back yourself by investing in yourself, it means you trust yourself 100% and are willing to back yourself to further yourself. You have the confidence in yourself that you are destined for bigger and greater things, and you know deep down you have the ability to achieve them. Backing yourself gives you the confidence and reassurance that hey, you are bloody great at what you do. Then what happens is, when you back yourself, it gives those around you confidence in you, solidifying you are the real deal, and you will do what it takes to continue to move forward, educate and upskill yourself to be better for your clients (and future clients that have not discovered you and don’t know how much they need you yet). Everyone around you starts to take your business seriously. 2. The second reason why you need to spend more to make more is when you invest in yourself you are learning, personally growing, and creating more value than you previously had. That’s right. When you invest in yourself, you’re learning, growing, and creating value. This is the type of value your future self will thank you for. It’s the go big or go home mentality. If you keep doing the same thing you have always done, you will keeping having the results you have always had. I don’t think if this statement as materialistic, I say this from an educational, upskilling and mental perspective. I know from my own experiences, as my business has grown, so have the many challenges that come with this. Majority of these challenges I could never have foreseen. However, if I don’t and didn’t continue to invest in myself, I would not be able to deal with some of the things that actually do happen. As I like to say: “New Level, Different Devil”. It’s how well you respond to things that happen and challenges put forward that define you as you move on and up. 3. The third reason why you need to spend more to make more is when you invest in yourself your business will grow. When you invest in your own learning, your business grows as a result. Every time I have invested in myself from a business perspective whether that be a business coach or a course, my business has grown and therefore I have been rewarded personally because of it. When I have made those scary uncomfortable investments, I have always reaped the rewards tenfold. Funny how these things have a way of making us feel uncomfortable to get ready for our new level of comfortable…only to get uncomfortable again haha. But it’s true, spending money is WORTH IT. As business owners, we just can’t have the expectations on ourselves that we need to do it all. There’s 100% a course that will help you get there quicker and faster, so you can spend your time doing other things that light you up. There are so many things that can be automated these days that I bet you didn’t even know they could. You simply don’t know what you don’t know. I know first-hand the ramifications of automating certain things in my business and had I not taken that specific course and worked with a business coach, I would have never had known some of these things existed. 5. Having more time to do whatever you want, to do what lights you up, makes you a happier person.
