Hello, and it’s so nice to be back in your ears for another week of my podcast, the Hayley Osborne show. I should have had a drink before I started, but I didn’t. So here we are. Your brand’s the reason people say yes, guys, here’s how I want to help you make it magnetic. This is episode 176 and that is what we’re going to be talking about today before we get started, though.

Oh, Episode 176 means that next Tuesday, the seventh of October, doors are opening to the magnetic marketing formula, and that is also the day that my free workshop is starting. So there’s been a lot of talk about the workshop so far on the podcast, but also through my emails. I’ve been talking about it for weeks now, and I’m so, so excited. I cannot even explain how excited I am. The reason people say yes, it’s not your prices, okay? Because when it comes to health, it doesn’t matter what the cost is, people will pay for it. Okay? It’s not your prices. It’s not your package. Okay? People don’t care about that. They don’t care about function. They care about what’s in it for them and the benefits. And it’s not the number of followers that you have, 100% not your brand. Is what builds trust. It’s what turns heads. It’s, it’s what someone it’s, it’s how someone makes them go, yep, that’s the person that I want to work with to help me get better, to help me to overcome this obstacle, to help me with my mental health, to help me become stronger.

Okay, especially in the health space, when people are searching for someone that they can trust with their well-being, the way that you position your brand matters more than ever. So let’s unpack now in this podcast episode, How to Build A magnetic brand that people remember and that they choose. So if you are new to listening to me for the first time now, welcome. I’m pretty black and white. I really thrive on telling you what you need to do, sharing with you what you need to do, and the how as well. Because the how is what gets things done, and the how then is, what will help you say, oh, Hayley is really good.

You should work with her, or you should listen to this podcast, right? That is the thing. I want to see tangible results, and I want to help you, because if you’re helping people live happier, healthier lives, then we have a thriving community, and that’s a place I like to live. So it all makes sense, right? So know your brand is more than a logo. So if you’re thinking, but I’ve got a nice logo and I’ve got nice colors, isn’t that enough? No, it’s not. It’s not enough.

And here’s the truth, a magnetic brand isn’t just visual, okay, it’s how people feel when they land. Land on you in your world, online, okay? It’s how people feel when they come along your Instagram account, or they visit your Facebook, or they land on your website. Okay, it’s not just visual, okay. How do they feel when they land here? It’s the vibe that they get from your content, your words, your energy, and does that align with how you are appearing in your clinic, in your practice, in your place of residence? Okay, because they need to align. I often get, Oh, wow. Hayley, you know, I meet you for the first time.

You are the same in person as how you appear on your social media, how you sound on your podcast, and how you have written the words on your website. It sounds like you, and you show up and you are you. That’s done on purpose, because I am me, and I know that I’m really good at what I do, and that’s just a way of showing it is right to practice what you preach, and that’s what I want to teach you. So it’s not just visual. It’s how you make people feel when they land on your page. It’s the vibe they get from your content, your words, your energy, once they start interacting with you. So you need to be able to position yourself well. It’s what you stand for. It’s also what you don’t stand for, okay, so what do you stand against?

And it’s, you know, the transformation that people associate with you, it’s really important. So I have a few things that I stand for and a few things that I can that I stand against, and one of them is I never share my kids on my social media, and that’s a hard stop for me ever, and I just won’t. And I have other things that I share, and it’s a funny thing, because they are 90% of my world, but they’re small, and so they, you know, they don’t know, and they’re not my porn. And so, you know, I’ve been doing this for far longer than they’ve been around, and it will continue that way. So it’s the transformation that people associate with you.

So you know that’s a really important thing to share is how you transform people’s lives. Testimonials are great, because nothing screams, you’re amazing like somebody else saying it, and that is hand on heart. The Absolute golden piece of content that you can ever post is you know your testimonials from your clients. So there’s three traits I know, and I think that creates a magnetic brand. So one of them is, you need to know who you help. Okay, so clarity. The first one is to clarify what you do. And why does it even matter?

Why do I care what you do? All right, these are hard questions to answer, okay, especially when you’re close, there’s no kind of this, kind of that energy. I can help you do this. It’s direct, it’s clean, and it’s super easy to understand. Okay. The second trait is consistency. So showing up super regularly, your tone, your visual visuals, you’re messaging. That’s my Google. If you heard her chiming in. I don’t even know why I didn’t say anything around getting her to help me. We use that in our house. It’s so dynamic. I love it. Anyway, we digress. She interrupted me. How annoying.

Anyway, so your messaging is recognizable, okay, because you’re consistent and people start to recognize, oh, that’s Hayley. That’s her. Yep, I’ve seen her do her thing. She’s consistent, and you don’t, I don’t sound like 50 other people all the same. Okay, so you do the same. You don’t have to sound like everyone. Find out what makes you, and when you do that, people start to trust you, because you’re consistent.

The third one is confidence. I speak about confidence a lot. Confidence creates a magnetic person, creates a magnetic brand and owns your space. Okay, stay in your lane because there’s nobody in that lane. Speak with authority and authenticity, because you’ve studied long and hard to be in the position that you are. So make sure that’s how you show up in your marketing. Okay, and lead with purpose, because I know that you are in the industry of helping people in some way, shape or form. So use that purpose and use that to drive you to how you show up online. Confidence is contagious. I get that a lot. You’re so confident you could do this. It’s taken time. It’s taken practice. I never used to be this way, but I am now, because I’ve been doing it for so long, okay? And I think health brands can exude confidence because people have to trust you, right?

And you are confident when you’re in your office, when you are having chats with people, and you are helping them in whatever shape or form that you that you practice, and you know that radiate, that confidence radiates, and it attracts. Confidence from your clients, in you, confidence is super contagious. So why does this matter in health? Health’s personal. It’s so personal. Your health and wellness are personal. Your clients, your clients, are looking for someone that they can trust with their pain, with their health goals, with their story, okay? That’s what this is for. So it’s personal. Health is personal, and so that’s how you need to show up in your marketing. Clients are looking for someone that they can trust with their pain, with their health goals and with their story. And I think when your brand is magnetic, it builds trust before someone ever sends a message, okay? And someone’s decided that they want to, they want you to help them before they even reach out. Most people that I have, that I work with, my you know longer standing clients, they’ve never even commented on a social media post, because it doesn’t come that way. Okay? It is your overall marketing.

People don’t just want another practitioner. They want someone who gets them, someone who stands for something and who feels like the right fit for your brand is how you become that person and your brand needs to move forward with you at the same time. Because what happens year one, year two, year three, of you doing what you do best, you evolve, you change, and you grow. And if you don’t bring your business and your brand along with that journey, I’ve seen this happen a lot, where the two disconnect and it’s hard to come back from, but with a strategy, you can do that. Okay, the fourth thing I want to say is make your brand magnetic.
