Hayley Osborne
Hayley Osborne Hello and welcome back to another episode of my beautiful podcast, the Hayley Osborne show, where you are here for business strategy, because I’m a business strategist and I am a Health brand expert in doing so we’re up to episode 184 and today I wanted to give you the business pep talk that you didn’t know that you needed.
And the reason I want to do that is because as this episode comes out, we are at the beginning of December, and I think for the days now, a lot of us hang our hats off, up on the rack and we are done. But I think when your motivation dips, your strategy definitely feels fuzzy, or you just need somebody in your corner, and that is what I’m giving you this week for the podcast. So I think that it’s a pep talk. If you need a pep talk right now, you’re in the right place. It’s the one that you probably didn’t know that you needed, but I promise it’s right on time for you.
Let’s start with this truth. It’s, you know, if you’re feeling right now like it’s a bit of a slow season, because, you know, we’ve just gone through Black Friday sales that have gone on forever. It feels and now everyone is kind of headlining into Christmas, and you’re getting excuses, or that’s a next year job, or whatever, whatever. Just because it’s a slow season, if it is for you, it doesn’t mean that you’re failing. I think that December has a really sneaky way of making you feel like you’ve dropped the ball, if, if things feel a little bit quiet.
But let me tell you, my friend, this is just the rhythm of business. If you didn’t quite understand that already, you’re not behind, you’re not invisible, and you’re not doing it wrong. Okay? You are simply riding in between those beautiful waves that are peaks and troughs, and that’s just business. And guess what? I think the best businesses, the ones that thrive year after year, know how to ride the quieter months with their strategy and without the stress.
So your ideal clients are just watching you even when they’re not liking them, they’re not interacting with your things, your posts and your marketing aren’t being saved. Maybe your click through rate percentage has dropped even when they’re not commenting and even when they’re, you know, off doing nice summer things or wrapping Christmas presents. So it is that time of year, so they’re still noticing. And the ones who are thinking about working with you in 2026 because it’s like 2026 is a mere four or five, whatever weeks away that it is, they are making those decisions now, even subconsciously.
So that is why your consistency matters, and this is why you needed that pep talk from me today. And it’s not just for algorithms, it’s more for your authority. I am stepping into the new and improved version of me in 2026 and I’ve changed a lot of things around behind the scenes, which will be doing a lot of work, which will come into like next year, and I’m really excited to share that with you. If you go over to my website, you can kind of start seeing things disappear and they will be replaced with even better things, which I love. But my consistency matters right now, and because I know that if you are making a decision in 2026 to work with me.
You’re making that decision now. And if I am continuously appearing in your world, showing my authority in the space, especially in terms of strategically, because that is what businesses want, then I am going to be meeting you where you’re at, okay, because of my consistency. Now, if you are in the same situation, but you’ve decided I need a break, then there’ll be somebody else showing up that does something similar to what you do, and they will then become top of mind for that person that is looking to work with you.
So be consistent. It matters. And it’s not for algorithms. It’s more for your authority, okay, it’s more for your zone of genius, and it’s more because you want to meet your audience where they’re at and where they’re going to move forward with you in the new year. And I think the magic is showing up even now, okay, as everyone winds down. I think if December feels like a drag or write off, this is what you need to hear.
This is where momentum is built, because most people check out, most people go silent, and most people ghost their own audience. Don’t be like most people. I need you to do better. Better. Okay, I need you to show up with intention. I need you to lead with the value that you know that you have, and I need you to remind people that you are still here and that when they’re ready, you are ready too, because a lot of people don’t do that.
And what do you think people do at the end of December, over the Christmas and New Year period. And I told this to my clients as well, because I found this to be true. Year after year after year, they take a break, they sit on the couch and they scroll through their phone, and what do they say? Not you, if you’ve taken the pedal off of the wheel. So is that right? The pedal? Your foot off the pedal? Yes, your foot off the pedal. Don’t take your foot off the pedal, okay, because that’s what everybody does.
Don’t be everybody, but what you need to do is have a little bit of a plan on how you’re going to show up in your marketing throughout December and early January, so you don’t lose that momentum with your audience. Because it’s important. I know that the best success I have with my content is over this period, because I have a strategy on how I plan it all out, and then it all gets scheduled in, and I still show up, which I love, okay? And I want you to do that too with intention, and I want you to lead with the value that you have and how you show up now, how you are going to start the new year, there’s no point in taking a break at all.
Okay? If you need a break, make sure that you have a strategy that is going to see you through the break. Okay, the energy that you bring now will be the results that you start to see in January. Okay, if you’ve always done what you’ve always got, then you’ll always have what you always have your 2620 26 visibility. Strategy starts today. If you wait until January to plan your content, to warm up your audience, to position your offers, you’re already playing catch up, and that’s pretty boring. We need to be doing better.
Okay, if you want to have a successful business in 2026 you need to start doing better. You need to start being more consistent. But if you take even one aligned action this week from this little pep talk that I’m giving you, whether it’s showing your face on your stories, sharing your expertise in a post, sharing your authority in a post, or booking that strategy session that you’ve been putting off, that is how you create the ease that you’re looking for in January.
Because let me tell you, it’s not about hustle. It’s about alignment. It’s about having structure. It’s about deciding to lead even when it is quiet. And if you saw one of my social media posts last week, it’s not about crying on your social media because things get hard. Ew, do better. Nobody wants to see you crying on your social media. Have a strategy, okay, and lead even when you are quiet.
This is a better time to lead. The business strategist in me has to say this, if you’ve been winging your content, crossing your fingers with sales, or only showing up when you have something to sell, and you’re not actually putting your brand first, and you’re showing up as a as your personal brand, because that is strong, or you are just you’re feeling stuck In a cycle of you know, I’m posting, but nothing’s landing. This is your nudge. You don’t need more content ideas. You don’t need more people telling you this, that and the other. You need to actually just execute on a strategy. You need a plan that transforms content into clients.
And you need a sounding board with somebody who gets health brands like me, and that’s what I do. So inside my social media strategy sessions where you wipe out 90 days of strategic, scalable content that’s designed to attract, to convert and to actually make your marketing easier, that’s what it is all about. You’ll leave with clarity, direction and a system that works with your brain and your bandwidth and your personality and your big business goals. So if you’re ready to walk into January like the expert that you are with a plan in place and your dream clients are one step closer. Let’s go. Let’s do better. Let’s see you do better.
I will put the link to book your strategy session in the show notes if you want to go there. And until next time, I hope you have enjoyed this pep talk. Stay consistent, stay bold, and please don’t forget that the version of you you’re becoming, she is already on her way. Okay, I’ll catch you next week, guys for another episode of The Hayley Osborne show you.
