3 Tips on creating a positive mindset

July 30, 2024

Today, I want to talk to you about something a little bit different – how to fearlessly expect the best in your business, always. This is something that’s come up a lot in my world, both in my own business and with my private clients. I thought it would be a great opportunity to share my perspective and hopefully inspire you to adopt a similar mindset.

By nature, I’m quite a positive person. I always see the glass as half full, and I know that through consistency, showing up, and discipline, my business will grow. I have an abundant mindset that’s always positive and uplifting.

But I know that this doesn’t come easy to everyone, and I want to share some tips on how you can cultivate this mindset for yourself.

Running a business can often feel like walking a tightrope. Every decision you make can be the fine line between making money or not, dodging a bullet or seizing an opportunity.

1. Striking the right balance

is key to massive success, but it requires leaning into a positive mindset. Have a think about what you love, what you donā€™t love, what makes you happy every day. These little factors help create balance.

Fear is a significant part of that balance – the fear of not doing well, the fear of failure, the fear of loss, and the fear of the unknown.

But itā€™s the little things you can do to slowly eliminate that 1% of fear every single day.

    2. Start your day off right

To overcome fear and expect the best in your business, I believe it’s crucial to start your day off right.

Have a think about what you can do in the morning to shift your mindset from fear to optimism. It could be listening to a pump-up playlist, going for a walk, or doing some yoga. Whatever it is, find something that helps you open your mind and get into a positive, expectant state.

      3. Put a positive routine in place every morning

When you put these pillars in place and aren’t fearful of the next move, your decision-making becomes less driven by fear. And as the saying goes, “your vibe attracts your tribe.” People can sense your energy from a mile away, and what you put out there will come back to you. It’s not about that one speaking engagement or networking event – it’s about consistently showing up and telling yourself that you’re ready for everything good that’s coming your way.

I’ve experienced this firsthand. Last International Women’s Day, I was asked by the government of South Australia to be the front face of their promotional campaign, even though they had never interacted with me on social media before. It was a full-circle moment, and it happened because I had been showing up consistently for years, fearlessly expecting the best.

So, my friends, I encourage you to be able to slowly shift your mindset, itā€™s important to start your day with positivity, and fearlessly expect the best in your business.

The universe is out to help you, not the other way around. When you’re open to that and you greet it with an expectant attitude, the good things will come tenfold. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.

        Let’s do this together!
